This is not grass, but wild moss.

As we walked, there are lots of trees, bamboo trees along the walkway.

When we reached Ginkaku-ji, it started to rain, however, it did not spoilt our travel mood.

Before reaching "moss" jungle, we walked pass a small lake with old pine trees.
